Planning my film opening
For the project I will be working on my own, as I feel it is easy and I don't have to worry about equally sharing the work. The genre for my film opening will be murder/mystery because I enjoy watching films with this genre so I have a lot of inspiration and knowledge on how the the director makes their
The target audience for this film will be for both genders and teenagers aged 15 and above, although the genre dose not really fit with teenagers I plan to include a group of teenage friends in the film so the young audience can connect with them.
I have not yet decided on a film title, but it needs to include words that make the genre of the film obvious like death, murder, horror and such as.
I want my film opening to show the story line, which is a murder in a forest but you wont see the murderer only their figure and it wont show the victim getting killed only their body afterwards.
The other character will be a detective in the woods in a police uniform, this way it will create a mystery storyline as they try to find out who the murderer is and who the victim was.
Also as the detective runs towards a road, they glance around to find suspects and everyone they look at looks like they didn't even hear the victim scream, this will hopefully confuse the audience and get them involved in guessing who the suspect is until they see a dark cloaked figure in the back ground, who will be the murderer.
The main setting will be in the woods and on a road, as this will be the setting or the murder, although if it is not long enough the setting may switch to an office after the woods scene, as the detective tries to figure out what happened.
The titles I will include are the producers, executive producer, director, editor, screenplay, musician, actors and the name of the film, which is undecided at the moment.
